Sterling Dentistry PLLC’s owner, Dr. Harry Campbell, began his academic journey to general dentistry at the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. During the pursuit of a science-driven career, Dr. Campbell was recruited by CuraGen Corporation, a biotech corporation dedicated to improving the lives of patients by developing novel pharmaceutical products to aid in the fight against cancer. As a research associate, he performed DNA sequencing for human genome mapping to aid in clinical effectiveness for newly researched pharmaceutical products designed to work at the molecular level. Later, he matriculated into Meharry Medical College of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee.
After earning his doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2002, he completed a general practice residency at Coler-Goldwater in New York. As a chief resident, Dr. Campbell participated in a dual program at Methodist Hospital in Park Slope Brooklyn and at Bellevue Hospital Manhattan from 2003 to 2004. When he completed his postgraduate training, he entered into private practice in the Hudson Valley. After nearly a decade of private practice in the suburbs and having fond memories of his former patients, he decided to return to Manhattan in 2013.
Dr. Campbell is certified in Tip Edge™ Orthodontics and is an active member of the New York County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. Additionally, Dr. Campbell is quite athletic and enjoys golfing, scuba diving, and weight training in his spare time, along with cooking and traveling.
